This is a great opportunity for a hardworking and enthusiastic person to train and develop their skills in restaurant, conference and events food service. Our freshly prepared restaurant and functions menus change periodically and offer classic dishes alongside seasonal specials. The post holder will also have the opportunity to utilise creative culinary skills in buffet-style preparation and presentation.
Possessing some practical knowledge and an interest in English and continental cookery, you will demonstrate a flexible attitude, a keen desire to learn and the ability to work in an efficient and calm manner as part of a very busy team.
Good time keeping and reliability is essential, as is the ability to follow instructions and carry out delegated tasks accurately, effectively and within given timeframes. You will ideally be NVQ trained to Level 2 or equivalent, possess a Food Hygiene certificate and have proven food service experience in a hotel, restaurant or similar establishment.
Hours will be offered on a casual basis as and when required and will include evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
