Working closely with a network of trusted local and national suppliers to secure the best quality ingredients Trafalgar Theatres’ partnerships demonstrate a commitment to supporting smaller businesses and, where possible, ensuring local provenance.

Sustainability

Trafalgar Theatres is a member of the and accredited by Sustainable Restaurant Association (SRA) which assists Trafalgar Theatre to source food more responsibly, manage resources more efficiently and work more closely with local communities.

Working with the Marine Conservation Society (MCS), and seafood supplier, M&J Seafood, Trafalgar Theatres has implemented a Responsible Fish Sourcing Policy. Only sustainable fish, which is MCS rated 1-3, is served at our venues.

Ethical Sourcing

Trafalgar Theatre’s Red Tractor accreditation means food served at venues has met responsible production standards and is fully traceable back to independently inspected farms in the UK. The Red Tractor Food Assurance scheme covers production standards developed by experts on safety, hygiene, animal welfare and the environment.

Local Partnerships

Trafalgar Theatres makes informed decisions on sustainable sourcing of ingredients but where viable preference is for food and drink with local provenance.  Trafalgar Theatres firmly believes in providing investment in local businesses and developing successful, lasting partnerships.
