Charity raffle and auction raises money for GOSH

A Charity Gala and Raffle event at The Plough, Scalby has raised more than £4,500 for Great Ormond Street Hospital.

Last night’s glitzy event was a huge success – smashing all targets and raising vital funds for the charity. A range of extravagant prizes were up for grabs, including a cruise around the Yorkshire East Coast in a luxury yacht and VIP hotels stays. Nick Thomas, Chairman of Qdos Entertainment and owner of The Plough said:
I am immensely proud of our partnership with GOSH and would like to say a big thank you to everyone at The Plough, to those who attended and to the local businesses who contributed prizes. This fantastic fundraising total could not have been achieved without the dedication and commitment of everyone involved who helped contribute.
Mark Deeming, General Manager at The Plough said:
We’re thrilled with the total raised and I’d like to thank everyone who attended and bid on the prizes – as well as the staff who worked so hard to deliver the event. It really was a fantastic evening!
